What’s going on in December at the Children’s Museum of the Shoals?

Come visit and make memories together at the Children’s Museum.

Regular Hours:  Thursday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Open Early: Friday – Toddler-Pre-K Program – 9:30 a.m.

Friday, January 6  Play Day for Toddlers and Pre-Ks

9:30-11:00 a.m. Art, story time, music and movement, and free play. Ages 18 months – 3 years

Saturday, January 7  Arts and Crafts Day.

Spend fun time together in the Art Room creating with paint, paper, clay, beads, and fabric. There will be projects for all ages.  Any time, all day.

Friday, January 13  Play Day for Toddlers and Pre-Ks

9:30-11:00 a.m. Art, story time, music and movement, and free play. Ages 18 months – 3 years.

Saturday, January 14 Early Childhood “Play and Learn.”  

Young children enjoy special activities that encourage language development, motor skills, and socialization—stories, music, movement, games, and art. Ages 18-36 months. 9:30-11:00 a.m. 

Friday, January 20  Play Day for Toddlers and Pre-Ks

9:30-11:00 a.m. Art, story time, music and movement, and free play. Ages 18 months – 3 years.

Saturday, January 21 Pizza Day!

Have you ever eaten a homemade pizza, especially one you have made yourself? They’re the best! We’ll be making our own delicious pizzas, and you can take the recipe home and become the official pizza chef at your house. 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Friday, January 27  Play Day for Toddlers and Pre-Ks

9:30-11:00 a.m. Art, story time, music and movement, and free play. Ages 18 months – 3 years.

Saturday, January 28 Game Day!

Come join us for a great day of fun games—all kinds of board games and group games for different ages. Bring a friend or make new friends doing what you enjoy most. 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
