In addition to the BIG DIG exhibit in the museum's backyard, children can also explore these outdoor exhibits: ISHATAE(A special place devoted to honoring the Native peoples of north Alabama), Florence Wagon Works, the Herb and Butterfly gardens, and Builder Boards.
